Once I have some initial notes or sketches on a project I often do a quick mash up in Photoshop or InDesign to make a visual of what I’m thinking about. This usually forms the beginning of the work.
On the project I’m working on now, I need to visualize a map with lots of ocean and some land. I’m not sure if I want to produce a bright piece yet or a map with subdued colours. In the meantime I’ve used this colour scheme designer to start thinking about what it could look like.
